Dar Rbab is a 300 year old house in the heart of the walled medina of Fes.

The rooms have a double bed, each with an en suite bathroom up a flight of steps; like most steps in Fes and Dar Rbab, theyre steep. People should have been more agile years ago.

Youre on the upper floor of an a beautiful old house, originally our home.

The house is in the region of 300 years old, and has all the features associated with historic houses in Fes. The centre of the two storey building is a courtyard, with pillars supporting balconies at the first floor. Access to all the principal rooms is by massive sets of cedarwood double doors, elaborately decorated and gilded on their inner sides.

Dar Rbab is emphatically not a hotel; when we are in Fes it is our home, and when we are away the property is run by SMohamed and our housekeeper, Aicha. with children are welcome.
