Walking down to Avenida la Cultura is only 2 or 3 minutes. Avenida la Cultura is the main road in Cusco, connecting the whole city. You will find all the buses with connections all over town and out of town there. Taxis are everywhere and if you have a car, you can park it for free next to the apartment building. A taxi will bring you in less than 10 minutes to the main plaza (plaza de armas) in Cusco for 4 soles ($1.20). A bus (10 minutes) will cost 0.70 soles ($0.20).
