The apartment was partially rehabbed last year with a new kitchen, dishwasher, resurfaced hardwood floors, new electrical and plumbing, and new central heating and air conditioning.

Safety:
This is a very safe neighborhood and building. This unit is on the second floor with deadbolts on both doors. There are security cameras front and back. My wife and I lived here for 3 years up until last fall and we never had any safety issues.

About the neighborhood:
This is located on the border of Avondale and Logan Square, two of Chicagos most sought-after neighborhoods. Logan Square and Avondale restaurants and bars a short walk away, but the apartment itself is on a quiet, peaceful street. Easy access to the highway and to the Belmont Blue Line CTA (L Train) to get to/from the Loop (downtown) or Ohare airport in 25-30 minutes.
