Besides that - Friedrichshain is called the new creative center of town - close to Kreuzberg, Neukoelln and Mitte. East Side Gallery, diverse Clubs, restaurants and galleries are within walking distance. Public transport U5-bahn subway are Frankfurter Tor and Samariterstr. You can take a walk to Boxhagener Platz and Simon-Dach-Str. which is famous for the flea market and food stalls on the weekends. There are also several tram stations nearby.
