AVAILABLE 18 May to 18 August, 2025. Hello! My apartment is ideal for a student interning in Washington D.C. during the summer months. It is close to the White House, IMF, World Bank, State Department, and U.S. Institute of Peace. It is a bright, airy apartment with large bay windows (south-facing) overlooking Kalorama park in Adams Morgan. It is modernly furnished in cream colors with a zen atmosphere. I love living here but I will be traveling in Europe during the summer.

Utilities: All utilities are included in the price, Wifi, heating and air-conditioning, trash disposal as well as maintenance jobs. If you need to work, there is a standing desk that can be lowered to sitting, and a top quality desk chair . There is a separate kitchen and bathroom and a large walk-in closet next to the bathroom. The laundry is in the basement ($2 per load) and there is a rooftop sunbathing area. A friendly, helpful doorman makes you feel welcome and secure and there are two incredible people providing service support if anything breaks/needs fixing.

Cafes/Restaurants:
Pitango cafe and Lapis Afghan Restaurant are both across the road, only a 1 minute walk away. Perrys Sushi restaurant, famous for its Drag Brunch, is only a 3 minute walk from the apartment.

Food shopping:
You are right beside Yes Organic! Streets and other food stores and cafes including a Trader Joes on 14th Street.

Nature trails and exercise:
You will be only a 10-minute walk from Rock Creek park with lots of hiking trails, work out areas, and where I run/walk most days. The city bikes [CABI] are right beside the building and DC has lots of cycling lanes.

Nightlife/Social Scene:
If you enjoy night life there is a lively bar and nightclub district nearby on 18th Street, but this neighbourhood is very quiet, you will sleep soundly. Dupont Circle and 14th Street also has a fabulous night life.

Politics/Museums/Theatre:
The White House and the Mall are only a 10-15 minute Uber ride or bus journey from here. Buses run from across the street to Farragut square and the Kennedy Centre, every 10 minutes. Dupont Circle and Woodley Park Metros are a 10 minute walk.
