My husband and I are moving and are looking for someone to take over our lease through to April 21, 2025.

About the apartment:
This is a ~1,100sq ft two-bedroom two-bathroom apartment in full-service building with in-suite washer and dryer. Both bedrooms are of similar size and have large walk-in closets. The apartment is very light, featuring large windows across all rooms and floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room, which opens into the balcony. The master bedroom and kitchen have views of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts; while the second bedroom, the living room and dining areas have views of the Potomac River and Georgetown University.

About the building:
The building is amazing. We have lived here for 18Ms we are only looking to leave due to move. The building has 24/7 gym downstairs, which has several treadmills, a rower, a couple of Peloton bikes and weights area. There is also an outdoor pool, which is open during the full summer; outdoor BBQ area, a game room with foosball table, billiards, shuffleboard, and large TVs making it an ideal spot to watch Superbowl or other games with friends.
The building also organizes monthly events in the lobby, including frozen yogurt tastings, cookie sales etc.

About the building staff:
The building staff is very friendly and are quick to respond in case you report an issue in the apartment. We have not had any issues at all!

About the neighborhood:
The building is on North Oak Street.
-- Supermarkets: Target (5min away), CVS (5min away), Safeway (5min away)
-- Metro: the Rosslyn metro station is 5min away, the Silver, the Orange and the Blue lines stop, making it super convenient to get anywhere in DC including the main airports IAD in 60min and DCA in 15min
-- Cute restaurants: Georgetown in DC (25min walk), Lyon Village in Arlington (20min walk) and Colonial Village in Arlington (10min walk)
-- Movie theatre: AMC theatre in Georgetown 25min away
-- Bikes: 2x Capital bikeshare stations, one is 1min away, the other 3min away

Additional unit details:
-- What is the pet policy? If you have a pet, we will connect you with your buildings management team to square away the details; it should be $500 one-time non-refundable fee and then an additional monthly charge of $65 for dogs and $50 for cats.
-- What if I have a car? The building has indoor parking available. Again, if you have a car, we will connect you with the buildings management team to square away the details; it should be ~$125 additional charge per month on top of rent.
-- What is the lease carryover process? Once you decide to proceed, we will be in touch with our building management team to process the lease carryover.
-- Why is April 2025 the maximum date? This is when our current lease expires. Approximately 1-2 months before the lease expires you would be asked if you would like to renew, which you are welcome to do if you want to stay.
-- Does the furniture come with the place? We would be happy to discuss this further if you wish.
