Room for Spring semester-summer sublease (January-July 2025) with option for lease takeover and renewal!
The bedroom with shared bathroom is available for an immediate move-in (base rent $660, ~$700/mo after utilities) available from January 1 through mid July, with potential to extend the lease.
This room will have a queen bed & sheet set, folding table to act as a desk, but the rest of the room will be unfurnished. I am LGBTQ friendly! We do prefer female identifying roommates, but are open. I would like to live with people I can be friends with! Community is important to me and I am very social. I have a cat and would need a roommate without a cat or dog as he is very friendly with people but not other cats/dogs (any other pets should be fine).
The apartment is a 3 bed / 2 bath apartment in The Morgan, about three miles south of campus and walking distance from the Friday Center Park & Ride bus stop and a Harris Teeter. Communal spaces like living, dining and kitchen are completely furnished. Apartment also has in-unit laundry, a large patio, and a smart thermostat and lock. The complex has free lot parking, valet trash pick-up, a gym (2 min walk), and pool! I have a very sweet cat, so I will need a roommate that is not allergic. Hes well-behaved, but likes to hang around people. Im looking to room with a grad student, upperclassman, or easy going professional. The apartment complex is 21+, it super safe, quiet, with security after hours, and maintenance has always been fast.
