Hi! My partner and I are looking to sublease our furnished 2BR/1BA in Silver Lake from March 1-August 31 with possible extension. We would also be interested in a housing swap for a similar place in NYC for a portion of that time (April 7-June 15).

Our spot is located in prime Silver Lake and is perfect for a couple. Built in the 1920s, the home maintains the original -style charm with original built-ins, hardwood floors, and details. The main bedroom has a king bed and the second bedroom is set up as an office with a sleep-able couch (turns into a ~full/queen-sized bed) for guests. We have a big, grassy backyard, a brand new washer/dryer, great appliances (just no microwave), central heat and AC, recently remodeled bathroom (with heated floors) a sweet front porch, and plenty of street parking with our neighborhood permit. Were in the lower floor of a duplex, and our upstairs neighbors are amazing!

We are in truly the best location in Silverlake - one block from the reservoir in one direction, and one block from the shops and restaurants on Silver Lake Blvd in the other (please note the sublet map approximation is incorrect). As a native New Yorker, its the only place in LA I would live because of the walkability and proximity to so many great restaurants and things to do. By car, were 10 minutes from anything on the east side (Los Feliz, Silver Lake, Echo Park).

Once we hear from you, well arrange a quick call to get to know each other, and then a quick chat with our landlord so he can get to know you as well. Well do a deposit of one months rent ($4950) for the unit and our furniture. Well leave the following open for your use: a large dresser in the main bedroom, the main bedroom closet with built-ins, the large hall closet, all the cabinet space in the bathroom, and a shoe cabinet by the front door. There will also be plenty of storage space in the cabinets and built-ins throughout the hall, kitchen, and breakfast areas.
