Room for Rent near UCSD - Great apartment, great views, great location!

Lease Period: My roommate is moving out, so Im looking for one tenant to take over her portion of the lease from April 1 to September 24, 2025. I will be moving out on September 24, 2025, but you could request to extend the lease for another year. You will have to apply with the apartment complex for the lease.

Apartment: The pet-free, two-story apartment has 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, and a balcony overlooking the canyon with incredible views. The rent is $1,320 plus typically $80-$100 for utilities per month. It has central heating and AC. The downstairs is laminate flooring and the upstairs is carpeted. There is plenty of storage in the apartmentthere are four areas outside of the room where you can put some of your things. The whole apartment is furnished aside from your room!

Available Room: The available bedroom is 10x10 with a large closet and will be unfurnished. We will share the bathroom.

Apartment Complex: It is at Canyon Park Apartments, which has great staff. It is a non-smoking property with two pools and hot tubs, a fitness center, a clubhouse, coin laundry in the complex, and one designated parking spot per apartment (which my car is in), but there are some guest spots, we could make a plan if you have a car.

Location: The apartment complex is on Genesee and is very close to the Regents bus stop, a trolley stop, UCSD, and the Westfield UTC mall.

About You: Im looking for a (preferably) female roommate who is either a mature undergrad, grad student, or working professional. Im also looking for someone who is very clean in the kitchen, willing to help keep the apartment clean, a good communicator, and safety conscious. Of course, I will adhere to the same standards. We will split the cost of communal amenities, such as toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap, etc.

About Me: Im a fourth year studio art major at UCSD who will be graduating at the end of summer session. I love music (at an appropriate volume lol), writing, going outdoors, thrifting, and cooking. I do have my partner and a few close friends over often, all of whom are very clean and respectful. I host the occasional small gathering (wine nights, movie nights, brunches, etc.), but never feel like you are barging in! You are welcome too. LGBTQIA+ friendly.
