Excellent location for students attending Carnegie Mellon University! If you take the Pittsburgh Regional Transit buses 61A,B,C,orD, you can get to school in 10 minutes. There is a bus stop 5 minute walk from our house. You can also walk to school in 20 minutes, although it is down a hill. If you feel like eating out, going to the movies, or shopping with friends, downtown Squirrel Hill is 10 minute walk away, which has a bunch of cute stores and cafes to offer. This rental is available to subletters for Fall 2025, Spring 2026, or Full Academic Year 25-26, since I am studying abroad. Everything is fully furnished, including the private bedroom. You will be sharing a bathroom, kitchen and living space with my two roommates. They are both undergraduates in engineering at CMU, one in 3rd year Materials Science, the other in 2nd year Electrical and Computer Engineering. Both them and our landlord are very kind, respectful and communicative. This is the main floor unit, there is also an upstairs unit with CMU students. Our laundry and drying machines are separate from the upstairs unit, and are accessible via indoor stairs to the basement. Electricity and water utility costs are in addition to the $655 monthly rent, it is rare for monthly rent to ever exceed $700.
