My current lease goes until May 1st, so Im looking for someone to sublet until then (the earliest move-in date is January 1st, but I can be flexible with timing if you need a sooner or later move-in) and, if youre a good tenant during that time, chances are extremely high that at the end of that period you could start your own lease.

Its a split-house duplex; the rent is $1600, and its about 1,000 square feet with two bedrooms and one bathroom. I use the second bedroom as my office, and its perfect. Includes all appliances (fridge, dishwasher, gas stove, washer/dryer). There is a fenced backyard and a covered carport. Its pet-friendly!

The neighborhood is Quail Creek, and I really like living here: its super close to Ramen Tatsuya and a Tacorrido truck, not to mention many other amazing friendly food places. Its close to a lot of great North Lamar shops, Austin Karaoke, and a short drive to Walnut Creek trail and many other cute parks. Youre close to all the major freeway entrances but not close enough to deal with the noise. The neighborhood is quiet, and the neighbors are all very nice. I love walking my dog around, and in summer evenings, there are fireflies all around. The owners occupy the other side of the duplex and are basically the nicest people ever. There are no shared walls, so noise has never been a problem for either side.

Seriously, I have loved living here and will be sad to leave.
