I am subletting my furnished bedroom with en-suite private bathroom in a spacious and bright apartment. Superb, central location in sought-after building (the Manulife Centre on Bay and Charles St.) with indoor connection to Loblaws, Shoppers, Dollorama, restaurants, Indigo, Eataly, Cineplex, LCBO and two TTC subway stations.

Rent is $2,200 per month. Room is available from May 25 to August 15 (some flexibility with move-in and move out dates).

Rent includes private/exclusive use of bedroom & en-suite private bathroom (connected via walk-in closet), shared use of kitchen and large living/dining room. All utilities are included (including wifi and weekly cleaning of shared spaces ~every Wednesday).

Room is fully furnished with Queen size bed, night table, dresser, bookcase, motorized standing desk, desk chair and lights. Individual climate control (heating/AC). You can also use all cookware and glassware. Im flexible with emptying a large number of drawers and shelves, to accommodate your needs.

The building is wheelchair accessible, has 24-hour security and offers a complimentary club room and fitness room on the 31st floor, where the washers and dryers are also located. Cheap parking is available (~$190 per month) in the adjacent UofT parking lot.

My roommate, John, is a PhD student in rehabilitation science at University of Toronto. Currently he works from home to complete his dissertation and his day is generally filled with zoom calls and research work. He typically works in his bedroom, but sometimes hangs out briefly in the kitchen or the dining room to get some variety. In the evenings/weekends he occasionally listens to music (classical/jazz/electronic) and enjoys cooking. He is the most engaging, polite and respectful roommate I have ever had.

We have had several sub-letters in the past few years (male and people), and these experiences have been successful and mutually beneficial. The rental is ideal for UofT visiting scholars and grad students, since it is a 5-minute walk from the Law School, the Music School etc! FIFA World Cup visitors are welcome! Couples will be considered but at a higher rate.
