Hello Hello! Were looking for a roommate to renew our apartment lease in September in Somerville. Great location with easy access to the Red Line, plus lots of restaurants, bars, and shops nearby. Apartment Details: 3 Bed/2 Bath + 2 Parking Spots, Central heat and AC !!!! The downstairs bathroom is shared by the two downstairs bedrooms The upstairs bathroom is primarily used by the upstairs bedroom Location: 385 Highland Ave, Somerville, MA (near Davis - Red Line)
Dates Available: September 1th Aug 31 we are slightly flexible with the start date in September, let us know. Total Rent: $4,300/month Rooms Rent: $1,440/month/month (utilities not included) Utilities: Heat and electricity not included (generally $100$200/month, depending on the season)
Pets: The house is partially furnished, we can discuss furniture if you would like to bring some, Sadly, the lease doesnt allow any pets
Parking: One off-street parking spot is available. The $1,440/month rent already includes the $170/month value of the parking space. If you dont need the parking spot, that $170 will be split among the three roommates, lowering your monthly rent.
Laundry: Unit next door, Coin-op (SADLY!!!)
Move-in Costs: First months rent + Last months rent + Security deposit
Type of Space: large private room, in the basement but gets light. The unit is newly renovated. It is split between 2 floors. The upper level has a living room, dinning, kitchen, one bedroom + bathroom. The upper floor is well lit and spacious. The basement floor has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath and a common space that can be made into a movie room, art space, or however we wish to redecorate! The
Roommates: We are a LGBTQ POC and im friendly household. We love movies, art, home decor, plants, food (both eating, cooking and sharing our cooked creations!) checking out vintage markets, and reading. We want to foster a fun loving and homey vibe! We like to host occasional boardgame nights or dinner parties for our close friends (NO ragers promise ) Were pretty laid-back and enjoy hanging out when it happens naturally. We would love to foster a nice relationship with our roommate but we also respect each others space.

I teach computer science at Medford middle school. My day starts pretty early (640 ish). In my free time I make art, read, and paint miniatures and play games.
