Im moving out and looking for someone to take over my lease at Overlook Ridge in West Revere, right on the Malden line (the Alterra / Chase community off Overlook Ridge Dr the development straddles both cities, and this unit is on the Revere side).

On the price: the lease itself is $2,389/month. Im handing over $700 in cash at move-in to whoever takes it, which works out to roughly $100/month off for the rest of the term so your effective cost is about $2,289. Id rather pass that along than keep paying for an empty apartment. Happy to talk numbers if youre seriously interested.

The basics:
- 1 bed / 1 bath, 772 sqft. Available now.
- Lease runs through March 2027 about seven months. Youd be taking over whats left of mine instead of signing a new 12-month one. (The office charges more per month for a short lease signed from scratch, so this comes out cheaper than the equivalent short term.)
- Step-free the whole way from the parking spot to the door, elevator in the building, and wide doorways and hallways throughout easy to move furniture through, easy in winter. Its a designated accessible unit, and the bathroom has a step-free roll-in shower with grab bars, if thats something you need.
- Washer and dryer are in the unit no shared laundry room, no quarters. Dishwasher too.
- Central air and heat, not window units one thermostat on the wall runs both.
- Utilities and internet are billed separately.
- Furniture and household things: I was going to sell off most of whats in the photos before I leave, but Id rather it go to whoever takes the place. Its all negotiable tell me what youd want and what youd rather I clear out. Worth flagging: theres no bed, so plan on that one.
- Parking is $65/mo if you want it. The spot is a short walk from the door with no stairs, which I appreciated more than I expected to in February.
- Gym and pool in the community, both included no amenity fee on top of rent.
- Professionally managed community with an on-site leasing office and maintenance team.
- My $1,000 security deposit is already covered, so you wont need to put one down.

How it works: this isnt an informal sublet it goes through the leasing office as an amendment to the existing lease. You apply, and once youre approved I come off it. The lease rent stays at $2,389 since its the same lease rather than a new one; the $700 is between you and me. Youll need income around 3x rent (~$86K/yr) or a guarantor, plus the standard credit and background check.

Location-wise its an easy trip to the Blue Line, Encore, and Logan.
