Looking for a cozy, hassle-free place to call home in DC? Im subletting my bright, fully furnished bedroom in a spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment located right off Columbia Road! Im a teacher in Southeast DC heading out of town to stay with family for a bit, so Im looking for a respectful standard tenant to take over my space. The move-in date is flexible anytime after August 22nd (the sooner, the better!), with a minimum 4-month stay. My tentative plan is to return in late December or early January, but if you need a longer stay beyond that, I am completely open to extending it for you!

Youll be sharing the apartment with two amazing women in their mid-twenties who keep a friendly, comfortable, and welcoming home. A private, dedicated bathroom can be made available upon request, and the rental comes with a reserved parking spota rare and huge bonus in this neighborhood! Unfortunately, due to a severe allergy, we cannot host any pets.

The location simply cannot be beat for walkability and convenience. You are just a 5-minute walk to the Columbia Heights Metro Station (Green/Yellow lines) and steps away from the Columbia Heights Shopping Center, which includes Target, Lidl, Chick-fil-A, New York Sports Club, CVS, and more. Plus, youre within a mile of Trader Joes, Giant, Tatte Bakery, and Sweetgreen.

Rent is $1,700 per month, plus utilities (water is covered by the owners, while gas, electricity, and Wi-Fi are split evenly among roommates, typically averaging around $100 per month). Because the bedroom comes fully furnished, a $350 security deposit is required to ensure everything stays in great shape.
